Argh! I went in to the auto craft shop on post today, and along with replacing the headlight surround on the side on which I had the accident, I also yanked off the CBV from the turbo to check it out. The o-ring was hardened and cracked right off, but replacing it didn't seem to do any good. The diaphragm held a vaccum, and actuated at about 10 mm hg. I guess that's normal? The spring seemed tense and responsive. I also replaced the vaccum hose from the CBV to the throttle body just in case. Still, it dumps the boost at full throttle just like before. ANYBODY!!! Other ideas? I still haven't checked out the Throttle Position Sensor, but I can't figure out how that would cause boost to vent to the atmosphere.
Thanks,
