Manual Transmission Trouble 700 88

I’m suddenly having trouble with my 740 turbo wagon shifting into 1st and 2nd gears. I’ve have read all the posts I could find on this web page concerning this problem. Some of them appear to be a few years old. I am wondering if anybody else has recently experienced this problem and what was actually the problem.
