Ok, i've been trying to get on this site for a while and it has finally let me in. I'm only 18 and i've been loving my 740t ever since i bought it. I managed to save enough money to buy a great deal from an old woman. I've done all the work on it myself that it needed...i don't like to get screwed by naughty mechanics.
Anyway, i've come across a weird problem. My rear-defroster no longer works. I've checked the relays and fuses...all fine. I would think that it would be something as simple as a line being broken, but the defrosting wires are not on the outside of the glass as normally found on cars, they are inside the glass itself. I checked every wire and still found no glich. Even tested electic current and it is traveling through the wire, just not heating them up. Anyone have a clue as to how to fix this? Hell, anyone ever seen a car with the defroster built in the glass like that?
I'll enjoy reading and trying anything. Down here in FL, we somehow manage to have humid winters and i kind of need the thing to work.
