I've had my '90 245 since February, and about the only thing left on it that really bugs/worries me is its clear desire to oversteer at the limits. Seriously, just getting on the interstate via a typical clover leaf on-ramp makes me worry, sometimes. I know it's extremely sensitive if rear tire pressure is allowed to drop, but even with correct pressures, it seems a bit much.
The shop has suggested that I could use new shocks in the back -- would worn ones be enough to cause this behavior, is it simply normal? I'd think Volvo, for all its "safest car on the road" mystique, would have more neutral handling when pushed, or even tend to understeer.
