I'm going to be dropping in my rebuilt b230ft in my 85 744 ti this week. I had the head ported polished etc..and I'm adding a 3" exhaust, and will be running about 12 lbs of boost. I predict that I will be running 240 hp. The car originally has a M46 w/ electronic overdrive. I have a M47 out of a late 80s n/a volvo. It looks like I'm going to have to swap the drive line among maybe other things to get it to even fit. I always wanted a real 5 speed in the car but will this tranny take the extra horseys?
