turbo watercooling 101 200 83glti

Hey guys,

Im rebuilding a turbo off a Saab (48 exh/50 comp) to replace a worn out turbo on my 242.The Saab Garrett T3 is water cooled and I would like to reassemble the cooling hoses,but would like to hear how the cooling hose routing actually cools the turbo.

I had the cooling hoses connected to the old turbo,but I dont think I had them hooked up correctly-radiator lower hose to lower turbo housing port.

How does water get pulled through the turbo?
