Need LA (Valley) Mechanic & Oil Question 200 1987

Hi. Just bought my first Volvo yesterday. A cool, used 1987 240 DL. I'm in love. Anyhow, I need a recommended mechanic just to look it over for me. I live in the San Fernando Valley of LA.

Also, do you recommend an oil treatment such as DuraLube or Prolong, or is that Verboten for a Volvo. Does the 1987 have fuel injection? Should I buy a cleaner? Please feel free to e-mail me @ tachlis11@yahoo.com.
