rattling caliper 700 1988

The right side brake caliper rattles. I fooled with it all last weekend but could not make it stop. Caliper works fine and the pads and rotor are like new. When I touch brake, it stops. Sounds like I have a rock in the wheel cover. My Bother in law had a 740 and he tells me he never was able to fix the same problem,
