Still having trouble with the interior lights/radio/antenna. The #5 fuse blows instantly when a new fuse is installed. I put a posting on before and the first suggestion was to check the door switch. I put a new one in. Disconnected all of them and still the short. Unhooked each relay and reinstalled. The problem went away until a short road trip. Hit a bump, and poof, it started again. The interior chime goes non stop while the headlights are on. It stops when they are turned off. I replaced the bulb burnout relay. First thought was that the light wasn't grounded. The lights are done differently than the 89 750GLE. I installed a new overhead light this evening. The lights started working, then when I closed the door the last time, they all went out instantly My questions:
1) Where would you start? I'm at my wit's end on this one.
2) What could be sending that much power to the A wire of fuse #5.
3) Is there a relay bad that would do this?
Thanks in advance, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
