Installing 240 Seats in a 120 120-130

OK Gang ... Donnie, the original owner of my 122 just showed up in his Land Cruiser and ploughed us out ... so used the opportunity to quiz him about the installation of the 240 seats in my 122S ... he says ... the frames are all 240 .. no parts of the 120 frames were necessary and no holes had to be drilled. However I also mentioned to him about the back of the frame having been severed and he said that was so that the rear of the frame could be made to line up with the rear holes in the car. .. so I guess that the only modification you will need to do is to cut the back member of the 240 seat frame and then narrow the frame to fit the mounting holes at the rear in the floor of the 120..... he didn't seem to feel it was necessary to weld the rear rail back together ... but I feel better knowing that it is. The driver's side frame is out of a GL and has double sliders as well as the rake adjustment. The passenger side .. at least on my car is from a 4 door DL and does not have the rake adjustment feature.....
