groaning/scraping brake sound 700 1986

My 760 GLE has has its new front brakes on for roughly 200 miles and just now they've been getting noisy. If I brake a little hard at very low speeds, they will make a scraping sound like a flat stone against another flat stone. I KNOW I did not install the pads backwards. I took it easy on the brakes and did the proper break-in procedure.

What's the deal?
