'Hiccups' 1-3 times in morning (i.e. very cold), doesn't stall, though. 700 1987

Happy Y2K2 to all!

I'd like to nip this problem in the bud before it becomes anything else (or worse). When starting for the first time after sitting overnight, the engine does a hiccup (misfire?) between 1 and 3 times while idling. The motor starts up right away, without any hesitation. Within 10 seconds, it'll hiccup (for lack of a better term), and then (maybe) do it 2 more times.

Here's what I've checked and replaced so far:

rotor, cap, plugs and wire (<5K ago)
wiring harness
ignition switch (which, by the way, solved my idiot light/delayed start problem)
both temp sensors
both FI relays
throttle position sensor, and intake air valve
all ground points
cleaned throttle body

I've noticed that when it hiccups, the FI relay clicks once, if that's any help. It doesn't stall, and the hiccup is so short/quick. I figured that if the Hall Sensor went, the engine would just quit. Also, the tach only drops 100-200 rpm during the hiccup, then resumes.

Thanks in advance for your input!
