what is red led light near dig. temp gage on cluster? 900 1994

i have had a little light come on . it is in the very bottom lft corner . was not on a while ago. its beside the digital temp gage just to the lft of it.has been on fo a d ay . i set my check engine light on when i was checking my injectors. i asume that it is telling me that i need to check the codes?
