Adjusting the Fuel/Air Ratio without a o2 Sensor 700 1985

Hi,

Does anyone know how to go about setting the Air/Fuel mixture without an o2 sensor?

My car does not have one. I believe they where fitted to vehicles 1986 onwards.

It has something to do with the screw on th AMM, doesn't it?
