940 '93 rpm/ turbo electrical problems 900 1993

Hey,

On my 940 turbo diesel ( D24TDI ) I have this symptoms. As I have no manual yet, please some help...

When I start, the turbo alarm light is lit and with the engine running, no rpm 's are indicated. Also when the handbrake is on, no indication of the handbrake on.

After maximum 2 minutes the turbo alarm indication is off and the rpm meter is working.
This situation happens very often, but not always and it never ( till now ) happened while driving the car.

I suspect a faulthy rpm sensor, or pressure sensor from the turbo, or a groundfailure; is this a common fault on 940 turbo's ?
