Pressure regulator (noisy fuel pump) 200 1985

I'm a new Volvo owner of a 85 turbo wagon. I've spent about 3 hours on the archives of this site learning alot of great info. During the reasearch I came to the conclusion that my noisy (humming) fuel pump is likely caused by the pressure regulator. now my question is, where exactly is the regulator located, & how hard is it to replace? Thanks in advance for your coments and advice.

My next project is to go after the heater fan. From what I've read here, it's no fun.
