Well, I have decided to keep the integrity of my 1963 PV544, thanks to many of of you. So far, I have a new headliner, new floor soundproofing and carpeting,, new ignition instead of points (Crane Cams infrared ignition, XR-700), and a reworked fuseblock and Delco Remy alternator kit from Ron Kwas. A new but looks old radio is on order with buttons, but AM/FM and a cassette.
Now I would like power brakes (can't see that way under there) and saw units for older cars with thru the floor pedals in Street Rodder magazine. Anyone out there have experience with that?
The previous owner put SU HIF6 carbs, and different manifolds on it. The exhaust man. is split for a ways down. All the other stuff, wires, coil, is brand new.
Any comments are greatly appreciated. I'm all alone out here in New Brunswick.
In 1963 I had the only PV544 in the county, and still do in '02
Thank you
Bob Melville
