I'm going "under the knife" this morning to have my tonsils removed. At 56, this is apparently not a walk in the park. There is some satisfaction, if not irony, that my surgeon is a MD/PhD and I will occupy a surgical suite in the the world's only NIH sactioned cancer center! Just a smidge of overkill, perhaps, but that's the environment in which I work. No, there is no indication of malignancy, it's just where the surgeon is doing her work today). It is outpatient prodedure with an anticipated three weeks of recovery and 20-30 punds of weight loss. Hope to reconnect while recovering at home in about a week. Happy Motoring!
