945 turbo wagon battery?? 900 1993

My brick changes radio stations when shut off. Is this a sign that the battery is on it's death bed? I tried starting and shutting down several times in a row to see if that would finish it off, but it still starts the car. Seems to crank for a while before catching though. If it is the battery, which brand should I buy for many more troublefree miles???
