help with brake light 700 1987

This thing is driving me nuts. On 740 wagon, passenger side brake lamp does not work. Here's what happens, the front parking lamp (passenger side) comes on, when the brakes are pressed. Consquently there is no light on the passenger side with the parking lamps on.

-took apart the light and cleaned and checked contacts, bulbs ect.
-i get no juice from the brake light conector.
-resolder the bulb fail relay

Need help.
