Manual transmision oils? 200 1985

I want some opinions on what oil I should put in my 85 240 4 speed+O/D. I've been reading the Redline oil site & it says that you can usr the MTL for stick shifts that requires an F type oil. The reason I'm looking into the Redline MTL is because the shifting is a little stiff, but the clutch is fine. I think the syncros need a little help. Has anybody tried the Redline MTL, had any luck with it, or just have an opinion?
