My girlfriend's 1989 240 dl has absolutely no pick up. Granted, it is an automatic, so it isn't suprising that my '86 manual has more balls, but this is beyond just that. Over the weekend, I think i'm going to check the flame trap and spark plugs, but i'm wondering if anyone here has some major probable areas to check. I know its not the distributor/rotor, or the air filter for starters. She says it keeps getting worse and worse, and can barely hold speed up hills unless the pedal is all the way to the floor, which just isn't right. I'm wondering if it is fuel mixture, but i have zero experience with that stuff, so I'm kinda hoping it's not. well, thanks again to all of you folks in advance!
