I am currently looking at an '89 744GLE/B234FT/AW7x. This car is coming in as a trade in at my favorite Euro repair/used car shop. All of the below work done by that shop, which I trust implicitly.

Has recent head rebuild (suspect the timing belt broke), tranny rebuild. Rotors and pads, exhaust. Interior and exterior are in 95+% condition - no rust. Everything works, except ABS light is on.

This car can be mine at $3000. It appears to book at $4k. Seems that the recent work would add to that value.

Anybody care to comment?
