I love junkyards! 120-130

Gosh dang - I really do love it when you actually find something you need for cheap!

There I was, roaming with the shady dogs at the local junkyard (one of whom stole a wheelcover right off my Saab in the parking lot), when the rustiest 122s I've ever seen (and I've seen quite a few)came into view. It was over near the crusher, waiting its turn. I hoped there might be something left, but this car had lived 9 or 10 lives, and then been picked clean by parts hounds.

Lucky me, though . . . it looks like the very last owner replaced the windshield. No fogging, no pitting, no haze . . . spending that $25 to bring it home has kept me happy all week!

I have a new seal and am prepared to see a little rust under my old one, but was wondering how folks have faired with the aluminum trim. The new trim is expensive. Is it difficult to install without damaging it? Any tips?
