After tinking with mass air meter adjustment , water spray decarbonization ,timing retard , hoses etc. still failing my emissions test barely the second time , I have come to the inevitable catalytic converter replacement on my 218 k mi car . I have ordered a " direct fit " Arvin brand from one of the national chain autoparts stores . I hope it fits but who knows . I may have to use a " unversal " they have . Any tips on installation would be appreciated - Thanks
