help pls...electrical part Identity.. 200 1986

It's the small black box that connects to the battery (first outlet)and to the
one going to the fuel injection (second outlet)..What do you call this box ?
Also this is suppose to have the connection that holds the 25 amp fuse.This '87
240DL does not have this fuse and the small box w/ cover missing looks like
it's beginning to get fried..It's the one on top of the left front fender
close to the power steering resevoir..Thanks for your immediate reply/advice.
