My 245 rides like a POS-what am I doing wrong? 200 1986

I've replaced most of the suspension components in my 245 over the last yr-18 months, including all of the rear bushings, shocks and struts, and the front control arm bushes. Despite all of this, my car still rides horribly. It was acutally OK for several thousand miles after the rebuild, but now it's almost worse than before.

The car runs well and looks good, but if I can't get these suspension gremlins worked out, I may give it up. It's really that bad, especially with all of the frigging pot holes that we have around here.

The only thing that I can think of is that the mechanic used sub-par components. He told me that he ordered the parts (bushings) from Volvo, and the shocks/struts are suppose to be Boge automatics, what was (IIRC) originally on the car when it left Gothenburg. That is what I paid for, anyway. I suppose that really means squat, though. Dishonest mechanics abound...

How should I proceed?

Thanks,
-Jim
