Thank you, THANK YOU, thank you!!!!!!!!!!! (and now, another question...) 200

First off, I just wanted to thank all of you who helped me with my brake/tail light dillema. Turns out all I needed to do was fiddle around with the right outer tail lamp to get it to function as normal. So...now I have functioning tail and brake lamps again. Life is great. And all I had to do from the get-go was replace the original bulbs that were in there (which, IIRC, were the wrong bulbs to begin with). If it was not for all of you, I'd have tossed needless cash down the drain, so my many thanks to you!!!!!! Yes, Volvos are slightly quriky, but that's what makes them so loveable!

Now, for yet another question (and this one is fairly easy)

I have two nephews. There are times that I'll have to pick up my youngest from school. Here in NJ, they require that all kids between the ages of 0-8, and under a certain weight level, be secured in a saftey seat/booster. My sister-in-law has an extra one (I think it's a Britex), and I'd much rather take my car than the rusted out nanny mobile. Here's the question: Can I secure a typical chil saftey seat in the rear of my 244 (the 89') with just the lap/shoulder harness on the outboard seats WITHOUT a locking clip/tether, or am I stuck heading off to my friendly Volvo dealer to get a clip? How about the center lap belt? Or the front passenger's seat (since I don't have an air bag there)?. Anyone here with kids that can give me an idea as to what I can do? Thanks a million!!!

Steve
