OK OK OK..... *NOT* all the time. But my rationale is that:

#1 I live in SoCal and RFG is RFG, right???

#2 ARCO has these slick ads: "There's no better gas at any price"

#3 I did a fairly comprehensive study a year ago and found no big diff.

#4 My buddy at the Volvo Dealer feeds me a steady diet of the $15 a bottle crap they throw in at service time. Maybe I use too much.

#5 With my oil consumption, I just felt like I should save money somewhere. Or maybe it was just to spite the bitch.

Within an hour I will be loading the head into the rental Lumina and heading to the Volvo specialist 45 minutes away. I asked him on the phone, "Any problems getting valves or guides for this pig?" He said no.

What do I do????

We don't have Amoco. We don't have Sunoco. We have a liberal/communist clap-trap in Sacramento who makes these decisions for us.

Herbst.... could I just have had a bad guide all along?
