What years did the 960 porosituy problem arise 900

Does anyone have any real data concer4ning the porosity prblem in the 960 series. I proudly own a 1992 965 125,000 mi and have so for a 2 years but haven't seen any signs of problems. The 940, 240, 960 debate has got me wondering though how smart it was to have bought this car.
