740 turbo volvo cherry red exaust 700 1990

hello,I have a 1990 740 turbo volvo, I have recently rebuilt the head. I also rebuilt the turbo and fuel injectors,replaced the knock sensor,o2 sensor and cat converter.The car runs great.But here is my potential problem,after driving car I happen to look under hood at night and noticed the exausht manifold gloing a cherry red.The cherry red is at the neck where the turbo connects to the manifolf and head.Is this normal or is there a problem.
