replacing fuel pump in 90 740 700

I posted below, but have come to the conclusion that the fuel pump is bad. I have a Regina fuel pump that mounts in the tank. I pulled the cover to see what was involved and was wondering how difficult the job is. Are there any secrets or tricks to make it easier.
