Rear Window defroster Relay? 700 1988

Anyone know where the rear window defroster relay is? My rear defroster is strange. First of all the wires are in the glass itself, not outside like most cars. Secondly, the wiring appears fine (i.e. no breaks), the voltage is the same on both sides of the window. I hooked up a 12v tester to the wires, and they both light up the same on each side. Still, it doesn't work at all. I think this might be the relay. Anyone else have a clue??
