Ok my 1981 Volvo 240 GL with B23 (non turbo) motor seems to have problems starting when it's below 0 degrees outside. A few years ago (when it had been used) it would start fine even in the coldest weather. It has sat for 2 years and i have been using it everyday for the last 3 months now, thinking the problem would go away after the motor is ran.. Still there! Checked the plugs, they look ok, but might that be the prob? Or could it be the fuel filter? What are the little first probs that would cause trouble starting?
It starts right when i turn the key, then it stalls and this repeats two or three times. The motor is really strong 153,000 km's real good compression. But it has this embarassing problem (especially passangers get into my car.)
A 2nd problem is the oil presure light coming on till the car warms up a bit. Oil elvel is good, jsut did a oil change/ filter change. The problem has been increasing the more I drive it. I need some help!
Quite a few questions for my first post here at brick board :)
