ipd plastic dash cover 700 1989

Has anyone a picture showing a ipd plastic dash cover mounted in a pre-1990 740?
I live in Germany so I want to know all pros and cons of it before purchase.
Is installation straight forward?
(btw: I own a 1989 744gl with black interior and a cracked dash :-( )
