Today I thought I'd fix my driver's seat heater on the blue bucket, which busted for maybe the tenth time. While doing that, I thought how stupid it is that the 240 driver's seat has 6-way capabilities with the adjustments on the mount, and the passenger seat doesn't. Well, it DOES, but it's a painstaking adjustment to make with the bolts and whatnot.
It turns out that I had another mounting bracket for a driver's seat sitting around. Two quick taps with a hammer and the bracket fit the holes for the passenger side (opposite floor contour at the back), and now the passenger seat is a 6-way seat too. Up, down, tilt, etc., all easily, the same as the driver's seat. You need a bracket and driver's seat hardware including plastic slides to do it right, but other than that, it's simple.
And totally worthless, but since the stuff was right there... why not try it.
Now a question: Has anyone used the IPD seat heaters? I like the seats to be warm and STAY warm, mine in particular. The stock stuff is not good enough for me. I freeze easily.
