Shuddering towards rear of car 700 1989

When I accelerate from a stop, I both hear and feel a shuddering in the rear of my 89 740 GL. It doesn't happen after I pass about 15 mph, so I wouldn't think it was the axle. Could it be the something with the shocks? Any ideas?
