Cheap aftermarket fuel filters aren't such a great idea.

I just went through a whole evening of replacing my fuel filter. The previous filter was an aftermarket brand from Canadian Tire. The large banjo bolt from the pump side came out fine, but the smaller banjo bolt from the engine side of the filter would not. Upon further effort, the fitting turned but would not loosen. The whole thread is pressed in to the filter and IT was spinning! I got a new fitting from a friend and put a new Bosch filter in. Perfect. Thanks.

Rene
