I found a couple 1800's this weekend and wanted to see if anyone else out there thinks there is a deal here. 1964 1800 with fresh interior and very straight red body. Owner drove up until six months ago when wrist was broke...Can't put the car in reverse. Have turned over the motor but not yet started it. The paint is not original but in decent shape, and there are signs of light surface rust in the doors and rocker panel but doesn't look bad. This car also has a KPH speedo and a BENZIN gauge instead of FUEL but both are the origial Smiths units. Also in the deal is a 1971 blue 1800 that has had a sunroof cut in it. The B20 looks clean, but was converted back to SU's. This car has a little more rust in the usual places but could be restored pretty easily. Both cars are complete, have the four speed with OD, and Volvo alloy wheels. Owner is asking $3000 for the pair.
I really wasn't looking for anymore cars at this time, but I hate to pass up a good deal... Is this one?
Thanks
Oliver
