BW55 Transmission Problem 200 1980

The shifter on my BW55 automatic feels like something's binding. It's
also making a loud clicking sound like it's not comming completely out
of park. It seems to be shifting through the gears ok. Does anyone know
if an internal linkage can be adjusted if the pan is removed? Thanks in
advance.
