high pitch whine from tranny 200 1987

I recently replaced the tranny on my '87 240 DL wagon with a salvaged tranny. AW70 for AW70 straight swap. It seems to work just fine (I now have 3rd/4th & reverse) but when driving on interstate I hear a high pitched whinning sound. I didn't have this before with old tranny and I'm concerned. Anything to be concerned about? It's not too obnoxiously loud or anything but being "in tune" with my brick I hear everything that happens or any sound made.
