Hi
In the continuing saga of the Volvo 240 B21 with the colorful history, after replacing the fuel pump the car runs beautifully if the #87 and #30 leads are jumped. If not, it will start and sort of huff along sounding like its running on only 2 cylinders or a similar noise (it hits all 4 cylinders if its jumped, i think its hitting on all four, just sounds like 2).
Conditions: freshly replaced: fuel filter, in tank pump, main pump, fuel relay, and a whole pile of damaged wiring.
When its running either way the Lamba sond light is on (possibly coincidence, a lot of wiring was messed with, i might have wired the light itself wrong).
I am jumping it by removing the wires from the fuel relay totally and vice grippng them together (that cuts out the whole relay, i think)
What now? I have reached the confused point again.
Anyone who is keeping up with me, the noisy fuel pump was trash, the nem pump is nice and quiet.
Any suggestions? Thanks :)
