Transmission kicks in and out of overdrive too frequently 900 1993

My 1993, 940 wagon, automatic, only kicks in the O/D when I release the gas pedal and when its fully warmed up, after about 10 mins of driving, it will jump in and out of the O/D just by depressing the gas pedal a little. Does anyone have a clue as to what causes this ? Thanks for any help.
