Volvo Engine Exchange? 960 900

Looking at my recenctly purchased 92 volvo 960, I noticed a sticker on the front engine cover, It said "Byte Exchange Cambrio ..." with the mileage written "72,000 January 99". I haven't spoken to the dealer about it yet, but would this be a timing belt recall service or and engine exchange?
