Air box flap housing 700 1986

Hi!

Need to replace air box thermostat in my 740 non-turbo with carburetor (B230K engine). It looks it's imposible to install a new one without separating air flap housing from air filter housing. The problem is I can't separate them - it appears they've stuck through years.

There's always a hard way to do it, but I'm worrying not to brake them.

Any suggestion would be welcome.
