Stopped and could not restart.
Did the diagnostic from Bentley manual for the Jetronic 0 280 000 544 and all checks out OK. The Main Relay that turns on the fuel pumps works only with the jumper on the respective Jetronic ECU and NOT when the Ignition switch is turned ON (cleaned relay and tested OK). The engine turns nice, the wiring is kind of OK (wire insulation gone for about 2 inches from some sensor with only one wire, but the engine compartment is clean with no oil leaks or just minimal). It's a 4 speed with OD and the clutch was replaced about one month ago and smog California OK in August 2001. The car has 190K miles. It has spark at the spark plugs, timing belt OK.
Please advise.
