Brick Questions (4) 200 1983

Well after the little deal with my head-gasket blowing out, I finally gathered up all the needed parts and then got ready for a long and hard removal and repair. It actually turned out not to be that bad at all! The good ol' brick is up and running, all the problems I WAS having are gone, but a few others have risen do to a few mistakes I made.

I replaced the main fuel pump and the in tank pump again while I had the engine all apart, along with new injectors and seals this took care of that stumbling I was getting when I tried to push ANY boost through the engine, The idle as well is a bit smoother as well. But anyway, I do have a few questions.

I've noticed now that my boost gauge barely pushes half-way through the yellow zone now when 'stomping' on the car, it used to commonly get into the overboost range around 4500 (not that I run the car that hard ever.) Does this mean maybe the gauge is defective? Because believe me it seems to get boost still. Or maybe getting Coolant into the oil has started a process which is going to ruin the turbo and I should expect to change it soon?

Second question. While removing the fourth (was not able to) fuel injector, I bent the fuel line a bit. I was able to fix it, however the injector NEEDS to be replaced. Anyone suggest where I can pick up the fuel 'line' for the fourth cylinder? I looked around IPD and didn't see them, but maybe I'm blind.

Third question. Good idea to get a 240 radiator from a salvage yard, order a new one from IPD, or see if I can have mine 'fixed' The car seems to get a little bit on the hot side. Then again the temp. gauge also seems to go up and down on it's own. So maybe there is no problem?

And my last question. I remember seeing it once, but there were 'directions' on how to remove my engine driven cooling fan and then install an electric one (or two). Was this only for the 700(s) or can this be done on 240's as well?

Thanks for everyone's help, and thanks of course to PB'laster. Without it those exaust nuts would have been stuck for good.

Jeff
