Andy Viken at www.importpartsspec.com too has parts to rebuild the 960 engine well below dealer list prices, like $376 for piston sets with rings, $139 for rings (per piston) and around $1,500 plus core for a rebuilt head (one may have to send in the head from the car to be rebuilt because of lack of cores). Parts and prices are listed at his website. That makes two sources with Nick Bauer at www.fcpgroton.com Both Andy or Nick sell those parts way below dealer prices reported by Tom Irwin. Both tell me they can find anything we need. Nick tells me he can bring parts from Sweden if time is not a constraint. Hopefully, we can drive with less worries about posssible future rebuilds.
