Tranny Troubles Again They Seem To Come And Go. (244) 200 1980

Ok I get into my car today and it is all good in reverse then i shift into first then second and it is good but i come to a stop sign then i couldn't get into first. It seemed like it was blocked by something same with second then whole left side was tought to get into. So I sat there and tried and tried then it finally went it then it was ok for a while then it went weird again what could be the problem?
