Has anyone converted their car to rack and pinion steering?

Yes, hopefully steering feel might get a bit better, and hey! power steering... but really-

I need the ROOM! The box- and- draglink- andi idler mess takes up room I need to run plumbing for the turbo project.

I seem to have a dim memory that someone was talking about it a couple of years ago...
